The end of finals brings what every college student looks forward to all semester long: Christmas break. Going home is wonderful, and the knowledge that you have several weeks off with no school is the most relieving thing ever. As all students go home, there are definitely some thoughts that they have in common.
Here are seven things that every college student thinks at the start of Christmas break.
“Did my drive get longer?”
The excitement at going home seems to make hours stretch on.
“I think my room grew larger.”
Look at all this room for activities!
“OH MY GOSH THE FRIDGE IS FULL OF FOOD.”
So this is what non-cafeteria food tastes like. I almost forgot.
“So this is what sleep feels like…huh.”
Hallelujah for finally meeting recommended sleep requirements.
“Do I even remember how to make food?”
Uhhh…how do you operate an oven?
“What should I ACTUALLY be doing right now?”
Sure, sleep is great…but maybe trying to work on some goals with this free time would be good…
“A few weeks is not nearly long enough.”
Because when you’re back with your family, friends, and pets, a few weeks is not nearly enough.
