Today was the Lockheed Martin Press Conference and Luncheon where the coaches, players, and staff members came together to talk about the Armed Forces Bowl game, events, and the U.S. military. Both teams were very humble during today’s conference. They were excited and eager to play football tomorrow at Amon G. Carter Stadium on Texas Christian Universities campus. Both teams were extremely humble.

The luncheon featured many military members from each branch of service, the mayor of the City of Fort Worth, Lockheed Martin staff and finally an honor guard from Fort Worth ISD. The keynote speaker for today’s event was former UT superstar and former green beret Nate Boyer. During Boyer’s address, he talked about our country and how great it was. Furthermore, he went on to say that everyone civilians and military alike are important and stressed how important everyone was to this country. Lockheed Martin awarded two purple heart recipients scholarships to learn how to fly.

Tomorrow’s game will feature a flyover from Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base’s 136 Airlift Wing.
