Stuart Varney of Varney & Co.  interviewed Andy Khawaja, CEO of Allied Wallet. Andy Khawaja immigrated from Beirut, Lebanon to the United States. Allied Wallet was founded 13 years ago. Andy Khawaja is known as the pioneer of E-Commerce Solutions.  Allied Wallet is the globally leading provider of online payment processing to over 196 countries in the world. Andy Khawaja was featured on the cover of MEA Markets as the $18 Billion Man.

He came to the United States just to build his company. His inspiration came from his parents who told him “This is the land (United States) of the dreams. If you want to work hard for it. My understanding when I was a child, my parents tell me if you like to fight the best place to make it in life is America. Because that’s land where people had to fight to make it to the top. And I’m a fighter. I fight very hard and am where I am today.”

“We follow closely on this program the big-name technology stocks. And they’ve all come down recently.” said Stuart Varney. “Will they bounce back?”

Dr. Andy Khawaja said, “No Chance.” “Look, from the global point of view on the level of global processor you see that everything is going digital electronically and domestically and internationally. From a point of view when I look at the processes in the United States and look at consumer transactions the rules and regulations are very hard on international business and for the US point of view.”

Khawaja went on to state, “If you look at payment processor from China for example from outside the United States they are much more flexible and encouraged to transact international with international customers.” He also stated “Even us in the US are two or three years behind on payment technology compared to Asian markets.”

In closing to the tech stocks Dr. Andy Khawaja stated, “I have a feeling that it will take a little time to bounce back.”
