Here’s a pointed disagreement with folks who think that all students agree with the March for our Lives protestors in their attack on the Second Amendment:
Brenna Spencer, 22, a college senior at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, is pulling up her “Women for Trump” t-shirt to reveal a handgun stuck into the waistband her jeans with the caption: “I don’t take normal graduation photos.” She wants to “show who I am as a person,” she told ABC News after the photo created a stir on social media. A lot of it was nasty. “I did think that it would get a little attention but not to this degree. It was really, really surprising to see the amount of hate that I got.”
However, she said she did get some intelligent response, including praise for her knowledge of Second Amendment rights. She follows all the gun laws regarding such matters as concealed carry and doesn’t take it any place where guns are not allowed, such as her college campus, she said.
