Harvard classes summoned for political correctness
Harvard University has flagged seven classes for “special attention and review…to help them think about how to manage sometimes difficult, but important, conversations in classrooms around diversity and inclusion.”  

 

In other words, the professors will be indoctrinated on how to avoid offending anyone for…what? Tellingly, the Harvard Crimson, which reported the story, doesn’t itemize the offenses. All we know is that students were asked whether they had experienced any “verbal or nonverbal slights/insults (whether intentional or unintentional) that negatively targeted a particular identity group.” Offensive being in the eye of the beholder, it’s difficult to say what the offense was.

 

No matter, the allegedly offending professors will be hauled before some sort of all-knowing wizard in the Emerald City to account for their transgressions. Of course, the transgressions were reported anonymously, leaving the professors to wonder just how legitimate the complaints are. Did someone say “star chamber?”
