The White House tweeted a new initiative to protect the freedom of speech online in order to prevent censorship on May 15.
The tweet offers the link to a form where individuals can fill out to report online political bias:
The Trump Administration is fighting for free speech online.

This form is proposedly shared with the President and was designed to prevent accounts from being suspended, banned, or fraudulently reported for unclear “violations”.
This initiative also backs the political beliefs of every individual from every background.
The Trump Administration believes that the freedom of speech, protected under the First Amendment, needs to be reinforced – even online.
The form allows for students to share their name, contact information, and the social media platform in which the bias took place.
To make sure the events are true, the form allows for affected individuals to provide screenshots of what was experienced firsthand.
Turning Point USA proudly backs any effort to increase the freedom of speech and any movement that protects such an Amendment.
TPUSA tweeted several weeks ago, after Twitter’s CEO met with President to discuss Twitter’s platform, that the organization “[appreciates]
@Jack’s reaffirmed commitment to free speech and making twitter a happy place for discourse, debate and dialogue.”

Earlier this year, President Trump signed an executive order reinforcing the freedom of speech on college campuses. The federal mandate states that if public universities or colleges refuse to uphold the First Amendment, all federally funded research grants will be withheld.
This puts a large incentive for universities to act according to our founding documents.

Turning Point USA founder and CEO, Charlie Kirk, was in support of this executive order, as the freedom of speech is a core value to the organization.
