Charlie Kirk, President and Founder of Turning Point USA, and Alex Marlow, Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief, announced on Wednesday, April 3rd that Breitbart and TPUSA will be teaming up for a “Weekly Campus Segment” on SiriusXM. Kirk said the Weekly Campus Segments will show listeners firsthand stories “straight from the students” about “the culture war that is happening on our college campuses.”
Marlow praised TPUSA, calling it “the most important right-of-center group on campuses around the country.” Kirk complimented Breitbart on their coverage of TPUSA students: “ So one example, Alex, would be our Turning Point USA president and chapter leader Peyton, whose door got firebombed.” He added, “ This is Andrew Breitbart’s Alma mater, actually, Tulane university – and Breitbart [News] did such a beautiful job of covering this.”
They continued the conversation, with Charlie Kirk adding that Breitbart covered the UC Berkeley story where a Turning Point USA student was punched in the face. Kirk said, “I do have to say, the UC Berkeley story in particular, Breitbart really helped keep the drumbeat going — remember, it took them a while to arrest that thug that punched Hayden Williams in the face.”
Kirk and Marlow continued to talk about the “culture war” on college campuses, and the bias present in the subject matter taught by professors. They spoke about the leftist chokehold on the mainstream media, and Hollywood today.
According to Breitbart, TPUSA’s new “Weekly Campus Segment” with Alex Marlow will broadcast every Wednesday on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily show beginning on April 17th at 8:00 a.m. EST.
