Turning Point USA hosted the Campus Clash tour at Penn State University on Tuesday, April 23. More than 700 students and onlookers attended the event, with more than 2000 registered online as well.

James Joseph, who primarily assisted with the event, explained, “Tonight we’re gonna talk about freedom of speech here on campus and protecting students’ first amendment rights to make statements wherever they please here on campus.”

Many students and others spoke to journalist Samantha Renck from The Daily Caller about why they attended the event and responded to questions!

Most of the students or community members in the video said they attended because they were excited for Charlie Kirk or Donald Trump Jr.

One attendee said he showed up to “support the conservative movement and also to support a civil discourse on campus.”
